Colene's journey in the mobile home park industry began in October 2006, when she and her husband, Gil Wigington, purchased Sunset Acres Mobile Home Park.
During their 13 years of ownership, Colene played a key role in their hands-on management approach, building strong tenant relationships, coordinating work orders, and keeping the accounts receivable balanced.
Her broader real estate career expanded in 2009 when she co-founded C&G Realty, managing office operations while remaining a central point of support for the mobile home park tenants.
Today, Colene works behind the scenes at Mid-Plains Land & Realty, ensuring clients' needs are met efficiently and professionally.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and traveling to Nashville, Tennessee, to visit their son.

During their 13 years of ownership, Colene played an active role in the park's daily operations, resident relations, rent collection, and office management, helping support the property's long-term success.
Through years of hands-on involvement in mobile home park ownership, Colene developed practical experience working directly with residents, coordinating maintenance requests, managing accounts receivable, and supporting day-to-day operations. Her operational perspective continues to provide valuable insight into property performance and valuation considerations.
